A living mural for Destilería.

Born in Orizaba, Veracruz, in 1988, Alan encountered drawing, painting and sculpture at the age of four, encouraged by his parents Margarita and Crescencio Alejandro. His artistic exploration began in Huatusco with Adriana Eseverri, Leda Palazzo and Ester Garfias, and continued in Córdoba at Casa de la Cultura “Jorge Cuesta” and in the studio of Martín González Villalobos.

At eighteen he moved to Xalapa, studied sculpture with Jorge Raga and entered the Visual Arts degree program at Universidad Veracruzana. There he expanded his theoretical and practical training with Guadalupe Buzo, Uros Uscebreka, Javier Petrilli, Ryuchi Yagahi, Omar Gasca and other artists, while developing the reflections collected in “Reacción, manifiesto de un método inconsciente.”

At twenty-four Alan moved to Cabo San Lucas, where he chose to live, create and form a family with Cristina Liliana and their daughters Camila and Yareni—his greatest works of art. He continues to share what he has learned with his community and to create for homes, friends, collectors and public space in gratitude to life, humanity and nature.
